Enter either a Postcode, Town Name or Street Name & Number into the search fields. Alternatively, enter a British National Grid Co-ordinate (Easting & Northing) or select County and Town from the Gazetteer.

 
 
 
Move around the modern search map using the pan/zoom bar functions or via dragging the map with your mouse.
To select your preferred map centre, click the map using your mouse.
When your preferred location is selected, the available historic map thumbnails will start to load. Select each historic map as required to review further.


The shaded green rectangle overlaid on the modern search map displays the final output area for your selected map edition.


To view a larger version of each historic thumbnail, click the 'Enlarge Map' button or select each thumbnail. Click the map to zoom or select 'Enhanced Zoom' to load a full-screen viewer.

Repeat steps 1 & 2 to refine your search further.
 
 
To select a map to review, click the map title text. The specific map will be highlighted. To add a map to your shopping cart, click the 'Add to Cart' button next to the historic map thumbnail of your choice.

Your purchase will be added to your cart.
You can review your cart at any stage by clicking on the 'Proceed to Checkout' button or via the top menu link.
Your shopping cart displays all your map purchase choices.

You can remove maps from the cart at any stage by clicking the 'Remove from Cart' button.

Each historic map in your cart will be displayed as a thumbnail image and details. Be careful to review your selection.

Use the selection list adjacent to each map image to select your desired output and delivery options.
